From the national athletics circuit to coaching everyday people — the same training principles, applied to real life.
For seven years, I competed as a national-level runner — racing at national championships and inter-university championships across the country, and training hard enough that I was eventually selected for the Army sports team. Circumstances meant I didn't take that path further, but those years taught me things you don't learn from a certification course alone: how the body actually adapts under load, how injuries really happen, and how the small, unglamorous work — mobility, recovery, consistency — is what separates people who progress from people who plateau or get hurt.
When I moved into personal training, I saw the same problem everywhere: most trainers run people through an hour of exercises and stop there. Clients would show up motivated, train hard for a few weeks, then quit — not because they weren't capable, but because nobody was coaching the other 23 hours of their day, and results that only live inside a single session rarely last.
That's the gap Grit Club Co is built to close.
I coach the way I was trained — with structure, not guesswork. Every program is built the way an athletic training plan is built: assessed, sequenced, and adjusted over time — strength paired with the mobility, movement, and stretching the body actually needs, plus nutrition guidance, so training connects to real, everyday results instead of stopping at the gym door.
No generic routines, no one-size-fits-all plans. Every client's program is assessed and structured from day one, with mobility and stretching built in deliberately to prevent injury and keep progress moving — plus nutrition guidance and regular check-ins to keep the whole program on track, not just the workouts.
This isn't an hour of exercise. It's a coaching program built on real training expertise — designed to fit your life and get results that actually last.
